The RailTechnology ST-inspection car is a high productive mobile rail treatment vehicle designed to keep rails in shape and remove rail surface irregularities and defects. In addition, the ST-inspect can monitor the railway tracks, enable predictive maintenance and reduce downtime on both Mainline and Urban Railway systems. The innovative spark and dust free technology can remove corrugations, waves and other near surface defects in rails thereby achieving a high-quality rail surface allowing for significant reductions in rail traffic noise emissions. ST grinding technology can be integrated within compact modular units in a variety of configurations. Regular treatment of rails with ST grinding technology will extend life of rails significantly.
