The RailTechnology HPG (High Performance Grinding) rail grinding technology is a high productive mobile rail treatment technology designed to bring or keep rails in shape and remove rail surface irregularities and defects on both Mainline and Urban Railway systems.
The innovative high precision rail grinding technology can reprofile rails and remove corrugations, waves and other near surface defects in rails thereby achieving a high-quality rail surface allowing for significant reductions in rail traffic noise emissions.
HPG rail grinding technology can be integrated within compact modular units in a variety of configurations.
HPG grinding cars can be towed behind a variety of rail bound or hi-rail vehicles or alternatively they can be combined into 2, 3 or even 4 car self propelled HPG grinding train configurations with up to 24 grinding stones.
